Family Training Event (FTE) is a week-long camp that focuses on training and is usually held the second or third week of August. During the day, youth from Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, go on outdoor adventures and work on skills that help them achieve their OAS badges or hone their existing skills. Adults partake in small training sessions throughout the day that help them to become better Scouters and more skilled at what they need to achieve their Wood Badge I or II achievement.
In the evening there are breakout Indaba Sessions for adults and movies for the youth. A canteen is onsite where everyone can grab a snack and enjoy mother nature. The camp theme is carried throughout the site each year whether it be Star Wars or Harry Potter.
We look forward to seeing you at the next camp... FTE 2020 - August 15-22, 2020
